CAN I HOLD EVENTS?
Please be advised that our properties are not authorized for hosting events or parties. Adhering to the city ordinance, exceeding the property's maximum occupancy is strictly prohibited. ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Dogs are welcome in properties designated as pet-friendly, with a maximum allowance of two dogs unless specified otherwise. A non-refundable fee of $150 per dog is mandatory. Please refrain from allowing dogs on furniture or beds and ensure that all pet waste is promptly cleaned up from the property surroundings. Guests are responsible for their pets and any damages they may cause.
It's important to note that any guest found with a pet in a property not designated as pet-friendly will be asked to leave the premises without being eligible for a refund.
WHAT IS CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT POLICY?
On your day of arrival, check-in is available anytime after 3:00 pm EST. Check-out time is set at 11:00 am EST. We kindly ask that you verify the accuracy of the dates on your confirmation.
Please be aware that confirmation of early check-ins and late check-outs is subject to availability and can only be confirmed on the day before your arrival or departure. This is due to upcoming reservations and the scheduling of our cleaning staff. If you require an early check-in or a late check-out, we encourage you to contact us on the day prior to your arrival or departure, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Additional fees may be applicable.
WHAT IS PROVIDED FOR EACH RENTAL IN REGARDS TO LINENS, BATH TOWELS, AND TOILETRIES?
Each bed in the property will be provided with sheets, pillowcases, and a blanket and/or comforter. Please note that bathroom towels are not to be taken from our rental homes for beach use. We recommend that you bring your own beach towels, though some units may have a limited supply.
Our linens are refreshed only upon departure unless mid-stay cleaning services are purchased. Additionally, each bathroom will be equipped with an initial supply of hand soap and toilet tissue, and each kitchen will have an initial stock of paper towels and trash bags.
WHAT HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE ARE OFFERED?
Prior to guest check-in, each rental home is subjected to a cleaning procedure. This cleaning is scheduled at the time of your reservation. If you require additional housekeeping services, such as mid-stay cleaning or towel and linen service, please don't hesitate to request them; they are available for an extra charge.
We kindly request our guests to maintain the property in the same condition as they found it. As part of this responsibility, we ask that you dispose of any trash and initiate the dishwasher before your departure.
WHAT DOES A GUEST NEED TO BRING?
Each property has unique equipment and supplies. Here are some items that are generally not included: beach towels, beach and pool floats and toys, golf clubs, tennis rackets, specialized condiments, and spices. While we provide an initial welcome kit with paper products and trash bags, they may not suffice for the entire duration of your stay.
We recommend bringing any essential items you'll need to fully enjoy your vacation.
LOST ITEMS OR LEFT ITEMS
The guest holds full responsibility for any possessions or items that are lost, stolen, or left behind. Mint Julep Vacation Rentals assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, stolen, or abandoned items, as well as the condition of such possessions or items. In the event that any items need to be shipped, the guest is responsible for covering the complete shipping costs along with a $30.00 handling fee. Any unclaimed items left for more than 10 days may be subject to disposal.
PEST CONTROL
Due to our location in the humid, sub-tropical climate of Savannah, Georgia, it's important to note that guests may occasionally come across a variety of native pests and critters that are common to our region. These may include, but are not limited to, birds, snakes, palmetto bugs, ants, bees, spiders, mosquitoes, sand gnats, no-see-ums, microorganisms, and other similar species.
Mint Julep Vacation Rentals and property owners undertake regular and proactive measures for pest control and animal management at all our properties. Despite our consistent treatment efforts, it's important to understand that no amount of prevention can guarantee a 100% elimination of the possibility of encountering such creatures.
IS SMOKING ALLOW IN THE PROPERTY
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all of our properties. Any violation of this policy will incur a $500 fine.
HOMELESS PEOPLE IN THE PARKS
Over the last few years, the homeless population has significantly increased, primarily due to factors like Covid-19 and other uncontrollable circumstances. In an urban environment like this, encountering homeless individuals in parks and business doorways is unfortunately quite common.
DO THE HOMES HAVE INTERNET ACCESS
Each home is equipped with complimentary wireless internet access. However, owing to Savannah's cable infrastructure, we cannot ensure uninterrupted internet or cable access at all times. It's worth noting that Savannah's internet service occasionally experiences disruptions, particularly during adverse weather conditions.
